The FaceOff is a competition we are hosting for indie artists to display their talent for a chance to win a free professional Epk from Konstant Kudos, a spread in Geechee One Magazine, interview for Stack House DVD, A&R list and a ALL EXPENSE PAID VIDEO SHOOT with APPEARANCES COURTESY OF GRAND HUSTLE PSC ARTISTS... Plus knowledge and printed information needed to become a better artist.
SignUps started August 5th at Chocolate City Night Club in Greenville, South Carolina.
REGISTRATION FEE:
$55.00 (NON-REFUNDABLE unless discussed with DE Mgmt)
CANCELLATION:
If Talents cancels the Engagement before the Date of Engagement, the Talent shall forfeit the Registration Fee to Event Planner as liquidated damages. In addition, if Event Planner commences entertainment and the Engagement is subsequently halted by circumstances beyond Event Planners control (i.e. inclement weather, complete major power outage, accidents or any other legitimate adverse condition), Event Planner shall refund registration fees in full if the rescheduling date is unable to be agreed upon.
CONCEPT OF EVENT:
The FaceOff is a competition for indie artists to display their talent for a chance to win a free professional Epk from Konstant Kudos, a spread in Geechee One Magazine, and a video courtesy of Grand Hustle with appearances from Grand Hustle PSC artists. The preliminary rounds consist of performances of the artist's hottest songs. The grand finale round is a rap battle between the hottest artists. Registration starts AUGUST 5th. Competition begins the last week of August. Grand Hustle or celebrity judges will have the final judgment.
RULING/JUDGING:
Artists will be performing one song during the preliminary rounds for the competition. Performances will be judged according to their delivery, stage presence, lyrical content, and crowd participation. Advancement is determined by scores of judges and the peoples choice. Winners of each week will the advance to the grand finale which will be judge by a special celebrity judge.
